When we move to a house, the idea we have in mind is to personalize it, choose the colors that we like and use them on walls and furniture. However, we must be careful when choosing them since colors generate emotions, Here, we will explain how colors can affect you positively or negatively and how they are connected to generate harmony and peace.

What colors should we have at home to awaken tranquility and peace?
The house is a much more personalized place for obvious reasons. If it is about tranquility, peace and rest we could use the green and blue in its different shades and neutral colors, as they are not classified as neither warm nor cold and bring the character and elegance.

What colors can we use in different parts of our house?

Bedroom: All warm tones can be used, we must take special care with red in terms of volume, location and contrast with other colors, blue and green are welcome as they reflect peace and tranquility, and neutral colors can be used with absolute confidence .

Living Room: The living room is connected to the dining room most times, it is a place to go far in color palette, in our case, we recommend strong colors and with a lot of character, such as bright yellow, orange and dark blue, always, as Accents of color and highlighting attention areas, neutral ones like browns, violet or fuchsia work wonders.

Bathrooms: the bathrooms as the room, lend themselves to a great variety of tones, however, if we want to have an elegant bathroom that does not go out of style, we recommend white and neutral with some accents of color, not necessarily in walls, an accessory imposing, towels or sinks can bring color and distinction with more discretion and drama. The veneers do not give the opportunities of decorative painting, which is why the choice of bathroom colors should be somewhat conservative.

Study: Being our work space, the study is an environment with special characteristics, where we recommend white, neutral, blue and green emphasizing furniture and especially the contribution of wood as a neutral color for that matter. Contemporary design and modern materials give us the alternative of white carpentry (neutral) which, contrasted with a good tone in walls, makes spaces really professional and worthy to enjoy.

What colors should we avoid using at home?
Stimulating colors like red, orange and yellow should be avoided in case if we are very active or have small children at home. However, if this is not the case, and we are slow and not very energetic the previous colors (red, orange and yellow) are the best option without over stimulate. Orange accents in the bedroom of a little dynamic child, works very well.

If we are of more matured age, warm tones tire the eyes and impede attention. Blues and greens are depressive and this is where the theme of the combination or contrast determines the stimulus. The question then would be: how much stimulation do I need? and according to the answer I choose the color palette according to our own needs.

What colors should not be missing in our home?

Apart from the obviousness of the target, in our opinion, there is no censorship or preferences for the use of color, a professional criterion is what will always translate into impact, harmony and good taste.

Nowadays the neutral and dark neutral tones including black, are the colors to which people mostly resist. We insist to lean towards the traditional greens, blues and to a lesser degree, yellows and reds.

In front of the doubts about the color to use at home, our furniture, curtains or floors can work without being absolute, as a point of reference. The amount of natural light and how it is projected into the environment is another element of judgment to make the best decision about color.

Conclusion
The walls are the background that frames our furniture, paintings and accessories. Their professional use in terms of location, tone and volume will bring significant beauty, strength and impact to our home.
